Within the pediatric condition: parasitic diseases, bone diseases especially osteomyelitis and malnutrition. An important group of people living with HIV/AIDS is followed in HIV clinic of the hospital.
Questions and necessities
Suggested requirements from the direction of Kirinda Hospital is to expand the knowledge on diabetes, malnutrition and cardiovascular diseases. There is suspected that there are patients with diabetes and cardiovascular diseases in this region but are not able to come to hospital. If they come to the hospital with symptoms of these diseases they are already in an advanced or end stage. It is suggested to do screenings in the regions and in health centers to diagnose these diseases in a earlier stage. This will make it more plausible to treat these diseases.
